The now

Hey everybody,

For a long time I have been a strong believer of the now. This moment, embrace it; feel the air fill your lungs as it chills the inside of your nose. Concentrate on the rhythm it creates as you inhale the fuel of the body. Hold. Then breath out. Feel the tension leave, your muscles relaxing. As the muscles contract and the air flows back into the body, you see how these two activities are balanced and are just as important as each other. Everyday this balance keeps us alive.

This is the balance of life. We should embrace it and apply it to everything that we do. Every action has a reaction as does every emotion have its opposite. The longer you hold onto one the harder the other hits when it comes into play. This balance is steadiness, composure.

Finding this balance will allow you to excel in your field as you will no longer retain negativity and doubt, as you will no longer overlook necessity in excitement. You will be relaxed, ready to react to the moment. You let the brain calculate and the body function, you separate the body and the mind, instinctively using the emotions you know letting them come and go as needs be.

The clear mind is relaxed and composed ready to use the lessons it has stored deep inside its cells as is the firm body ready to react and explode into action.

To reach this steadiness takes time, effort and a whole lot of practice. It takes dedication, motivation and willingness. It takes patience, reflection and tuning. It is the balance of breathing, of emotion, of softness and firmness, of joy and anger, love and hate. It is the balance of life. Not before or after, it lives in the now as should we. It is balance. It is the art of nothingness. It is strength in calmness.
