Today was my first trip to a court in Barcelona and I have to say I was not disappointed.

The baskets on the court are about 10ft when you are standing in front of them and they have solid chain nets. We all know a net makes the world of difference.

The floor on the court slopes off to the right which means your shot differs on each side of the court but there are no holes in the floor so at least it is safe.

The lining on the floor is visible although the 3 point line was too close.

The location of the court is quite open and the court is by a library. The area seems pretty safe and there were people around playing table tennis and doing other creative things.

Is the court good to play on? as far as outdoor courts go, yes it is. I had a light game with one of the locals and it's one of the better outdoor courts I have played on. With few courts in Liverpool, I don't have much to compare it too, however, if I was going to rate the court on a scale of 0 to 10 I would have to give it a 7 purely based on the baskets.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the courts around the city and the talent that is waiting on them. Hopefully, I will see you all out there.
