Capture The Year - A Message for 2017

Starting something new is always a scary time in our lives. Our minds fill with doubt and uncertainty. Our ideas not quite complete.

Starting this journey I have come across these very doubts but I have come to find that the only way to shake off these thoughts is to face them. Look into everything you don't understand, gather thoughts and opinions and separate the fact from the fiction.

If you think it's right then give it a go, you'll either surprise yourself with the results or learn from your mistakes.

Although it's still early for me, this last year I have learned more than I could have imagined. From the legal aspects of business to writing and photography skills. As I continue to develop and move forward with my plans my confidence grows along with my understanding of my next moves.

My appreciation for the struggle to get this far has filled me with a sense of accomplishment and self-belief. The moments of doubt become smaller and more insignificant.

As we start to think about our plans for the new year, I ask you to take a moment to reflect. Think about what it is that makes you happy and ask yourself do you do enough of it? From time with the family to life's goals, think about how you can bring more of this into the upcoming year.

When these thoughts occur and you hear the voice of doubt shouting over them, remember that the way to silence the voice is to focus on your first step. The who, what, where, why and when. No matter what the aim is or what the challenge may be, the moment you decide to take action is a moment of empowerment and this power resides in all of us. The power of choice, determination and freedom to become everything that you want to be, a true expression of who you are and the ability to make your goals a reality.

Now go! Go forward and capture this year, make this year one of accomplishment, the year of your true potential and put the voice of doubt to rest.

Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year

Strength in Calmness
